At least two drivers in West Philadelphia suffered personal injuries after they got involved in a vehicular collision where one of the vehicles caught fire, a report for Action News stated on October 23.

According to reports, a westbound vehicle traveling with a high speed struck a smaller vehicle on the crossway of Chestnut and 53rd Streets at about 6:45 a.m. on Sunday. The smaller vehicle reportedly went into flames after it lost control and struck a utility post.

A person, who happened to be in the area, helped a female driver get out of the burning vehicle.
