Thousands of Volvo vehicles with seatbelt issues recalled

Thousands of Volvo vehicles in the U.S. are under recall by the manufacturer because the seatbelts are liable to fail, which can heighten the likelihood of injury during accidents, a report of Automotive News stated on November 8.

Information coming from Jim Nichols said a part in the seatbelt buckle may not work when restraining the passenger. The recall, which was issued on October 28, affects the recent models of XC90, XC60, V60, S90, and S60 vehicles. Nichols confirmed they have not received any injury complaints or accidents involving any of the mentioned vehicle models. Volvo dealers have been notified and will inspect all the affected units still in their inventory and conduct the necessary fixes or replacement needed by vehicle owners. 5,000 of the recalled Volvo vehicles are in Canada.

Families often find themselves devastated when they are involved in vehicular accidents. However, working with a skilled legal team is critical, especially if you suspect negligent parties are involved.
