Zavodnick, Zavodnick & Lasky, LLC successfully negotiated a settlement of $99,000 on behalf of an individual who was rear-ended while driving a van in the course and scope of her employment, resulting in a meniscus tear in her knee.
The driver of the other vehicle had an insurance policy providing a maximum payout of $100,000. The attorneys were able to negotiate a settlement well in advance of trial, thus reducing the costs and fees incurred in the case and maximizing the recovery for the injured worker. The attorneys had previously resolved the employee’s workers’ compensation claim for a substantial sum.
